Jaguar Getting the Classic D-Type Revival

Drivers who enjoy Jaguar history know that back in the 1950s, the Jaguar Classic D-Type truly purred, as a three-time winner of the Le Mans 24 Hour Race, while being iconic in the racing world. Now, we're set for a return of the Classic D-Type, as there will be a limited run edition available from the automaker, which is certainly causing lots of hype.

There will only be 25 re-issues of the new Jaguar Classic D-Type, so it will be in high demand, and given that originals are rare and on the auction market for around $21 million, you can bet there will be a lot of eyes on it. Jaguar states that the vehicle will retain the styling of the iconic racer and be "period correct" which means that it will have the same engine components and other features you would have found on the original, which hasn't been produced since 1956.

This new rare and limited edition vehicle will certainly be something to watch. Here at Byers Jaguar, you can also stop in and take a closer look at our current collection of Jaguar vehicles, as our team would be happy to provide you with all the details when you set up a time for you to come to our showroom and view these vehicles today.
